Three days before DC FanDome, The Suicide Squad's panel gets a creative remix courtesy of star Flula Borg. Seriously, you're not prepared.
The Suicide Squad's DC FanDome panel gets a wild remix courtesy of star Flula Borg. The DCEU has a packed slate for the next few years, but The Suicide Squad just might stand among the most anticipated projects of them all. That's largely because this movie looks to be both a sequel to and a soft reboot of 2016's Suicide Squad, which got a decidedly mixed reception. Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn is taking over the reins for this one, and fans are certainly excited to see what he will do with the team of antiheroes.
So far, Gunn has kept much of The Suicide Squad a secret, from its basic premise to the characters found within the film. That looks to change this weekend at DC FanDome, the highly-anticipated virtual event that will feature exciting new reveals about upcoming DC projects. Gunn confirmed his presence at DC FanDome months ago, and a teaser for The Suicide Squad's panel confirmed just about the entire cast will be in attendance with him. Even more exciting: Gunn has promised an official first look at the film will be revealed during the panel.
With just three days to go before DC FanDome, Gunn has shared an unexpectedly awesome remix of the Suicide Squad panel (which takes place at 3pm EST). The remix itself comes from franchise newcomer Borg (drawing to mind memories of his Pitch Perfect 2 role), and it orchestrates soundbites from the panel in inventive and hilarious ways. You can check it out down below.
So @Flula is one of my favorite people I've met doing #TheSuicideSquad. He made this incredible behind-the-scenes remix of our upcoming panel for #DCFanDome this Saturday. Enjoy. pic.twitter.com/yr96hncBRb
Borg's remix serves as a pretty compelling teaser for The Suicide Squad's DC FanDome panel. After all, just about every actor from the film's massive cast is on display, and it truly looks like they had a lot of fun participating in the panel. Even if there weren't any major reveals to be shared, it looks like the panel would be worth watching just to see the likes of Margot Robbie, John Cena, Idris Elba, and others interact freely.
Of course, there's more to DC FanDome than just celebrity shenanigans, and that's what fans are most excited for. As mentioned before, Gunn has kept so much of The Suicide Squad a secret that it'll be a thrill to learn anything we can. Perhaps Gunn is finally willing to name some of the characters found within the film, as so far he's played coy about the team's roster. Additionally, The Suicide Squad completed production earlier this year, so it seems a given that some footage will finally be revealed. Fans only have to wait a few more days before they can see the (unmixed) panel unfold.
