A research done by the University of Rochester confirms this claim. According to Andrew Elliot, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester, “We found that women view men in red as higher in status, more likely to make money and more likely to climb the social ladder. And it’s this high-status judgment that leads to the attraction.”

Now that you know what red can do, you can use this information to your advantage when offline or online dating. Make sure that the photos on your profile have a red background or that you are wearing red.
